Director changes

Stobart Group Limited, the infrastructure and support services group, today announces the following director changes.

John Garbutt JP, Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee who was appointed to the Board in 2014, has informed the Board that he will not offer himself for re-election at the Annual General Meeting in June 2018 and will step down from the Board at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting.

John is very active in the civic life of London and has an increasing workload in connection with these commitments. We would like to take this opportunity to thank John for his considerable contribution to the Group and to wish him every success in his expanding public service roles.

Richard Laycock has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 February 2018.  Richard joined the Group in September 2008 and became Group Finance Director in October 2014. He has gained a wealth of knowledge about the Group and experience in all aspects of financial leadership. Richard will play a vital role as we continue to implement our strategy.
