Empresaria Group plc ("Empresaria" or the "Group")

Transaction in Own Shares & Total Voting Rights

Further to the announcement on 15 January 2018, Empresaria (AIM: EMR), the international specialist staffing group, announces that on 17 January 2018 it transferred 163,884 of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") held by the Company as treasury shares to the Empresaria Employee Benefit Trust. The Company intends that Ordinary Shares transferred to the Empresaria Employee Benefit Trust will be used to satisfy the exercise of options vested under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan.

Following the above transaction, the Company has 49,019,132 Ordinary Shares in issue, none of which are held by the Company as treasury shares. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 49,019,132.
