Asiamet Resources Limited ("ARS" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its shareholders voted in favour of all resolutions brought before them at the Company's Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders held May 1, 2017 (the "AGM") in Vancouver.

All existing directors Peter Bird, Tony Manini, Peter Pollard, Faldi Ismail, Stephen Hughes and Raynard von Hahn were re-elected as directors of the Company. The shareholders approved that the non-management members of the Board of Directors of the Company be paid an annual fee of up to US$30,000, and that the Board of Directors are authorized to fix the commencement date of that fee.

Also at the AGM, Ernst & Young LLP were appointed as the Company's auditors for the 2017 fiscal year, the stock option plan was renewed and the authorized share capital was increased to US$10,000,000 divided into 1,000,000,000 common shares of US$0.01 par value each.
