("Braemar", the "Company" or the "Group")

Employee Share Scheme and Director / PDMR Shareholding

Braemar Shipping Services plc (LSE:BMS), a leading international provider of shipbroking, financial advisory, port and marine consulting services principally to the shipping and energy industries, is pleased to announce the grant, on 5 July 2019, of options to certain of its employees under its Save as You Earn scheme (the "SAYE Scheme").

Eligible employees were invited to subscribe for a limited number of options over ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") through a monthly subscription limited to £250 per employee per month, commencing on 1 August 2019 for 36 months.  The options have an exercise price of 160 pence per Ordinary Share, representing a 20% discount to the middle market quotations of the Ordinary Shares over the three days immediately preceding the invitation to participate on 14 June 2019, and are exercisable from 1 August 2022.

The following PDMRs of the Company have elected to participate in the SAYE Scheme as follows:

In addition, Braemar is pleased to announce that Steve Kunzer, a non-executive director of the Company, bought 10,000 Ordinary Shares at 179.75 pence per Ordinary Share on 5 July 2019, following which his total holding of Ordinary Shares (including those of persons closely associated with him) is 10,000, representing approximately 0.03% of the Company's issued share capital.
