Petra Diamonds Limited announces the following transactions of Directors.

1. DIRECTOR TRANSACTIONS

The transactions below took place on 14 October 2016 in Jersey and were notified to the Company on the same day.  The transactions relate to the exercise of share awards and the subsequent sale of these shares.

2.   Refers to shares originally granted on 23 December 2013 under the Company's 2012 Performance Share Plan in respect of the period 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2016 that vested on 6 October 2016

3.   Originally granted on 28 November 2014, deferred awards over ordinary shares in the Company under the annual performance bonus plan that vested on 6 October 2016

There are currently 529,989,968 Ordinary Shares, which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in (or a change to their interest in) Petra under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
