William Hill PLC announces that today, it has purchased from Barclays Capital Securities Limited 737,376 William Hill PLC ordinary shares at a price of 323.1586 pence per share.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, William Hill PLC holds 17,777,376 ordinary shares in treasury and has 868,466,183 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
