Trading Statement re Mountfield Building Group Limited

The Directors of the Mountfield are pleased to announce that Mountfield Building Group Limited ("MBG") has made a good start to the year and has secured a substantial quantity of work of the type that MBG is now targeting in accordance with its new strategy.

By the end of March 2016 MBG had secured £2m of work for 2016 of which £1.5m has been secured since the beginning of the year. The latter is made up of eleven contracts with the largest being worth £300,000.

The range of work covered includes office and residential fit outs, data centre refurbishments, orders from its long-standing telecoms client for which it undertakes property fabric repair and other specialist construction works.

MBG is currently engaged in negotiations on a number of other mid-value contracts and has tenders submitted on other projects.

Andy Collins Group CEO said that: "MBG is now in a position where it could make a valuable contribution to the Group's profitability. We are delighted that it is successfully gaining the type of work that the Board targeted when the new business strategy was agreed."
