Directorate Change

Zambeef (AIM: ZAM), the fully integrated food producer with operations in Zambia, Nigeria and Ghana, announces that Adam Fleming has retired as a Non-Executive Director of the Group and will step down from the Board of Directors with immediate effect. Adam joined the Board on 26 February 2004.

The Group is pleased to announce that Graham John Clark will replace Adam as a Non-Executive Director, subject to confirmation at the next Annual General Meeting.

Graham has over 30 years' experience at senior levels with major food and agriculture companies across sub-Saharan Africa, including directorships of listed companies, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Adam Fleming commented: "I have greatly enjoyed my time on the Board of Zambeef. The business has grown tremendously in the period, including the expansion of its footprint across Sub-Saharan Africa and a successful listing on AIM. I am delighted that somebody with Graham's considerable experience is joining the Board at this very exciting time in the Group's development.  I will continue to remain a supportive shareholder of Zambeef."
