GALANTAS UPDATES ON JUDICIAL REVIEW OF PLANNING CONSENT
4 March 2016. Galantas Gold Corporation (the "Company") is able to today confirm that a third party has obtained leave from Belfast High Court to bring a judicial review of the planning consent granted by Department of Environment Northern Ireland, for the Company's underground mine near Omagh, County Tyrone. The review is expected to be heard 27-29 September 2016. The Company outlined the potential for a legal challenge on 13 October 2015.
Roland Phelps, President & CEO, Galantas Gold Corporation said, "The review should remove any dispute regarding the status of the planning consent. I am unable to make further comment regarding the review as it is before the Court. "
Exploration drilling continues at the Omagh site and additional results are expected in the near term.
