Update on Appointment of Non-Executive Director of Provident Financial plc and Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Vanquis Bank Ltd (Vanquis Bank)

Further to the announcement on 23 March 2019 the Company confirms Robert East will be appointed as Non-Executive Director of Provident Financial plc and Chairman of Vanquis Bank Limited with effect from 26 June 2019. Jonathan Roe, the current Chairman of Vanquis Bank, will step down.

Patrick Snowball, Chairman of Provident Financial plc said: "I welcome Robert East to the Group and Vanquis Boards. Vanquis Bank now has a new leadership team in place to execute its strategy and deliver for its customers and the Group's shareholders following the appointments of Robert and Neil Chandler, Managing Director Vanquis Bank.
