Falanx Group appoints Mike Read as Non-Executive Chairman

Falanx Group Limited, a cyber defence, business intelligence and risk solutions provider working with blue chip and government clients, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Read as Non-Executive Chairman.  Mr Read will join the Board of Falanx Group with immediate effect.

Mike has over 30 years experience in the global Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) sector and has been a director of eight public companies. He has held numerous 'C' level roles in the UK and USA, including, CEO of Pipex Communications, Executive Director at Daisy Group Plc, Non-Executive Director at Nasstar Plc, and Non-Executive Chairman at IntY Ltd. Mike has significant experience helping to build international technology companies, having been involved on over 50 M&A transactions.

As announced on 6 November 2015, Karl Barclay, Executive Chairman of Falanx Group, steps down leaving the Board with immediate effect.

Mike Read, Non-Executive Chairman of Falanx Group commented:

Save for the information below, there are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Rule 17, Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in respect of the appointment of Mike Read, who is aged 68.
