Hill & Smith announces that it has made an application to the UK Listing Authority for 750,000 ordinary shares of 25p each ("the New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and has also applied for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted for trading on the London Stock Exchange.  The applications comprise a block listing relating to the Hill & Smith Holdings PLC Executive Share Option Scheme and the Hill & Smith Sharesave Scheme.

The New Ordinary Shares will, on issue, rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.  Admission of the New Ordinary Shares is expected to become effective on or around 20 January 2016.
