The Board of Directors of Iren S.p.A. has appointed Paolo Robutti as Director and Chief Executive Officer of Iren Mercato S.p.A.

Reggio Emilia, 18 December 2025 – Today, following the conclusion of the process aimed at replacing the Chief Executive Officer of Iren Mercato S.p.A. (currently held by Gianluca Bufo – Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Iren S.p.A.), the Board of Directors of Iren S.p.A., upon the proposal of the Chief Executive Officer of the same, has appointed Paolo Robutti (formerly Deputy of the same) as Director and Chief Executive Officer of Iren Mercato S.p.A.

In the coming days, the competent bodies of Iren Mercato S.p.A. will take note of Mr. Bufo's resignation and proceed with his replacement on the basis of the above appointment effective from January 1, 2026.

The board of Iren Mercato S.p.A. will therefore consist of: Luigino Montarsolo (Chairman), Paolo Robutti (Chief Executive Officer), and Giulio Prando (Director).
