Forbidden Technologies plc (AIM: FBT), the AIM-quoted owner and developer of the market leading cloud video platform, Forscene, and video social network, 'eva', announces that its Chairman, Vic Steel, is retiring after 16 years of service. Stephen Streater, founder of Forbidden Technologies and a plc director for 25 years, will assume the role of Chairman of the Company and spend more time on the continued development of the Company's technology and video platform.
Aziz Musa, Marketing and Consumer Products Director, will become Chief Executive Officer. Aziz has held marketing roles for over 12 years in a number of businesses including Lastminute.com, Reed Elsevier plc and Photobox Ltd. Since joining Forbidden, he has led the design and launch of eva, the video social network and conceived Captevate, the online video editor.
Stephen Streater commented:
"Vic has been a loyal colleague, mentor and friend for many years having joined the Company prior to its IPO. He has been instrumental in establishing and developing the business and as such, his support and commitment has been invaluable to the Company. We all wish him well in his retirement.

As such, we are very pleased to welcome Aziz into the role of CEO. Aziz Musa said of his appointment:

To further bolster the leadership team and drive growth, Forbidden is recruiting new Non-Executive Directors. Further details of these appointments will be announced when agreed.
