Announcement Regarding Press Speculation Relating to the Kurt Salmon Business Unit

("Kurt Salmon")

The Board of Management Consulting Group PLC ("MCG") notes recent media speculation, in France, relating to its Kurt Salmon business and confirms that the Board has been approached by and remains in discussion with certain parties about the possible sale by MCG of certain European operations of Kurt Salmon.  There can be no certainty that these discussions will result in a transaction, nor as to the terms of any such transaction. The Board always considers such approaches.   A further announcement will be made in due course.
