Zambeef, the fully integrated agri-business with operations in Zambia, Nigeria and Ghana, has been notified of the following purchases of ordinary shares of ZMW0.001 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") in the market, by certain Directors of the Company (or their connected parties), as follows:

2   Purchased by Tajar Limited, a company of which Carl Irwin is the beneficial owner. The aggregate interests of Mr Irwin are held as follows:

3,763 Ordinary Shares held directly, 4,562,682 held indirectly through Tajar Limited and 840,000 held indirectly through Applegum Pty Ltd.

3   Purchased by Yusuf Koya jointly with his spouse.

4  Purchased by the Wellspring Trust, a trust of which John Rabb is one of the discretionary beneficiaries. The aggregate interests of Mr Rabb are

held indirectly as follows: 7,868,813 held by Shaka Holdings Inc., acting as nominee for trusts of which Mr Rabb is one of the discretionary     beneficiaries, and 4,131,187 held by the Wellspring Trust, a trust of which John Rabb is one of the discretionary beneficiaries.
