Transaction in own shares

The Board of the Company announces that on 3rd June 2019 it made a market purchase of 20,000 Ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company, representing 0.05% of the current issued Ordinary share capital. The shares were purchased at a price of 274.00 pence per Ordinary share and the Company intends to hold these shares in treasury.

Following this purchase, the Company's issued share capital comprises 40,980,974 Ordinary shares, of which 20,000 are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company will be 40,960,974 Ordinary shares.

As per the Compliance with Market Abuse Regulation announcement made on 1 May 2019, the Company confirms that it is satisfied that any inside information which the Directors and the Company may have in the period leading up to the announcement of the annual financial results for the year ended 30 April 2019 has been notified to a Regulated Information Service.

Total Voting Rights

The above figure 40,960,974 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
