AO World plc (the "Company") announces that Brian McBride has informed the Board of the Company of his intention not to offer himself for re-election at the forthcoming AGM of the Company, to be held on 17 July 2019 and to retire as a Director at its conclusion.  The Board thanks Brian for his significant contribution during his time with the Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.  It is not proposed to replace Brian at this time and his committee duties will be assumed by other members of the Board. Marisa Cassoni will be appointed as the Senior Independent Director.
