Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Assura plc ("Assura" or the "Company"), the leading investor and developer of primary care properties, announces that Louise Fowler will be appointed to the Board as Non-Executive Director with effect from 3 June 2019.

Louise has 25 years' marketing, customer and digital experience at a senior level in the travel and financial services industries. She started her career at British Airways before moving into financial services with Barclays and the Co-operative Banking Group. In recent years, she has been working as an independent consultant for well-known consumer brands such as the Post Office, First Direct and M&S. She will join all board committees.

Ed Smith, Chairman of Assura, commented: "I am delighted to welcome Louise to the Assura board. She has great experience in customer facing roles and will complement the skills of our board as we continue implementation of our strategy."
