Share buyback programme update

Stobart is about to enter a close period ahead of the notification of its results for the year ended 28 February 2014, which is expected on 14 May 2014, and wishes to provide an update in relation to its proposed share buy-back programme.

As set out in the Group's announcement of 6 March 2014, Stobart is seeking shareholder approval, at the General Meeting convened for 31 March 2014, for its proposed share buy-back programme.  At that time the Group will be in a close period.  In order for the implementation of the programme to begin, Stobart has given Cenkos Securities plc an irrevocable instruction to manage the share buy-back programme on specified terms until the close period ends. During this period the Company and its directors have no power to invoke any changes to the programme, which will be implemented at the sole discretion of Cenkos Securities plc.
