Drilling Permit Approved

Great Western Mining, the AIM and ESM quoted mineral exploration company with 73 sq. kilometres of mineral claims in south-west Nevada USA, is pleased to announce that the permit application for the Phase 2 drilling programme on the Company's M2-Smith copper target has been approved by the United States Bureau of Land Management.

Great Western Mining's drilling contractor, O'Keefe Drilling, has been mobilised to site.

The Company will notify the market shortly when drilling has commenced.
