Successful Commissioning of Dry Production Line 5

Steppe Cement Ltd ("Steppe Cement" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Karcement JSC, has successfully completed the commissioning of the new dry production Line 5 ("Line 5"). Line 5 is expected to increase Steppe Cement Group's annual cement production capacity by an additional 1.2 million tonnes.

In view of the successful completion, Steppe Cement Group, its board of directors and management wish to congratulate all employees for their commendable efforts especially during the cold winter season which experienced well below average conditions in January and February.
