Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility and Connected Persons

The Company announces that on 12 December 2013, Mr Rui de Sousa, the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, purchased 50,000 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.05 each ("Shares") at a price of £3.84969 per Share. 

Following this transaction which represents 0.02% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company, Mr de Sousa is interested in a total of 9,058,820 Shares, representing 2.73% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.  Mr de Sousa holds 350,000 Shares personally, representing 0.11% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Palamos Limited, a connected person to Mr de Sousa, continues to hold 8,708,820 Shares, representing 2.62% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
