Further to the announcement made on 13 December 2018, the Board is delighted to announce that with effect from 23 May 2019, Mark Little has been appointed to the Board as a non-executive director and will take over from David Henderson as Chairman of the Audit Committee. He will also be appointed as a member of the Nomination, Remuneration and Management Engagement Committees for that date. Mr Henderson will remain on the Audit Committee.

Mr Little has extensive knowledge of the investment industry as a former Managing Director of Barclays Wealth (Scotland and Northern Ireland) and is currently an Investment Director at Seven Investment Management. He is a non-executive director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for both Sanditon Investment Trust plc and Securities Trust of Scotland PLC.

There is no information concerning Mr Little that is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R (2) to (6) inclusive and the Board considers him to be independent on appointment in accordance with the AIC Code of Corporate Governance. Mr Little does not currently hold any shares in the Company.
