KONGSBERG to deliver navigation system to Germany’s 212A submarines
Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (‘KONGSBERG’) has signed a contract for the delivery of four navigation systems for the German Navy’s 212A refit program. The contract has a value of more than NOK 600 million.
The agreement also includes deliveries to the German Navy’s training facilities for the 212A class submarines.
KONGSBERG signed the contract with TKMS. The deliveries are based on technology and solutions developed for the joint Norwegian-German 212CD programme, which is being delivered by KONGSBERG and TKMS.
