Resignation of Non-Executive Director

Great Western Mining (AIM:GWMO, ESM:8GW), the AIM and ESM quoted mineral exploration company with 73 sq. kilometres of mineral claims in south-west Nevada, today accepted the resignation, with immediate effect, of Nial Ring BA, FCCA, LIB, Dip FSL. Nial is involved with several other companies and organisations and is stepping down following six years of service to fulfil his increasing commitments.

Emmett O'Connell, Executive Chairman, commented:

"As Chairman I would like to record the appreciation of the Company, and fellow Directors, for the past six years of service given to GWM by Nial Ring, and to wish him well in his future endeavours. His enthusiasm and energy will be missed by his former colleagues."
