New Significant Shareholder

Steppe Cement Ltd ("the Company") is pleased to announce that it has received notification from a new significant shareholder. Neon Liberty Emerging Markets Fund LP acquired 8,000,000 ordinary shares of Steppe Cement at 34 pence per share on 5 March 2013. This brings their total holding in the Company to 8,000,000 ordinary shares, representing 3.65% of the Company's issued share capital.

Steppe Cement's AIM nominated adviser is RFC Ambrian Limited.
