Managerial Responsibility and Connected Persons

The Company announces that on 2 January 2013, Dr Mike Watts, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, bought 1,374 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.05 each ("Shares") at a purchase price of £3.708 per Share.  The Shares were purchased on the open market pursuant to a trading plan entered into on 29 September 2009.

Following this transaction, which represents 0.0004% of the issued share capital of the Company, Dr Watts holds 85,086 Shares, representing 0.03% of the issued share capital of the Company.
