AGM Trading Update

Porvair plc ("Porvair" or "the Group"), the specialist filtration and environmental technology group, will make the following trading update today at its Annual General Meeting:

Porvair has made a good start to its 2019 financial year, achieving revenue growth of 18% (14% in constant currency) in the four months ended 31 March 2019, although this is flattered by the timing of a large spares order.  The Aerospace & Industrial division has started the year strongly. Profitability of the Metal Melt Quality division was improved by a better start to the financial year in China and improved efficiencies in the US. 

Group profits for the period were in line with management's expectations. Order books are healthy.

The Group will announce its interim results for the six months ending 31 May 2019 on Monday 24 June 2019.
