Directorate Change

Harworth Group plc ("Harworth" and the "Company") announces that Andrew Kirkman, Finance Director, has notified the Board of his resignation to take up the position of Chief Financial Officer at CLS Holdings plc.  Andrew will not, therefore, stand for re-election as a Director of the Company at its forthcoming Annual General Meeting in May.  His resignation will take effect on 30 June 2019. 

The Board has commenced a process to recruit Andrew's replacement in line with Harworth's succession plan and will make a further announcement in due course.

Alastair Lyons, Chairman of Harworth, said:

"We are sorry to have Andrew leave us but understand this move as the next step in his career.  I would like to thank Andrew for his contribution towards Harworth's success while he has been with us and wish him well for the future."
