Damit hat das IT-Beratungsunternehmen den ersten Schritt der für das laufende Geschäftsjahr angekündigten Internationalisierung vollzogen. Prescient ist einer der schnellst wachsenden mySAP.com-Implementierungs- und Servicepartner für den nordamerikanischen Markt. Laut Vertrag wird Prescient zu 100 Prozent von SAP SI übernommen. Der Übernahmepreis beläuft sich auf ein Umsatz/Preis-Verhältnis von 0,9 basierend auf dem Vorjahresumsatz von Prescient. Beide Vertragsparteien gehen davon aus, die Übernahme noch im Laufe des ersten Quartals 2001 abschließen zu können. Prescient erwirtschaftete im Geschäftsjahr 2000 mit 75 Mitarbeitern einen Umsatz von 12,7 Millionen Dollar. Die amerikanische Fachzeitschrift Entrepreneur Magazine stufte Prescient im Juni 2000 als eines der wachstumsstärksten Unternehmen der USA ein. SAP SI expands in the USA: SAP SI Acquires Prescient Consulting Dresden/Atlanta, SAP Systems Integration (SAP SI) AG announced that is has acquired Atlanta-based SAP consulting firm Prescient Consulting LLC. Through this acquisition, SAP SI has taken its first step in its previously announced international expansion program. Prescient is one of a fast growing mySAP.com implementation and service partner focusing on the North American market. Under the terms of the agreement, SAP SI will acquire a 100 percent ownership stake in Prescient Consulting. The transaction is based on a sales to price ratio of 0.9 based on Prescients revenues in 2000. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. The parties expect to close the transaction in the first quarter of this year. Prescient Consulting reported revenues of $12.7 million in 2000 and has 75 employees.
