DM bei 14 Prozent EBIT Amerang, 11. September 2000. Die SZ Testsysteme AG, Amerang bei Wasserburg, erwartet im Geschäftsjahr 2000/01 (30.9.) einen deutlichen Umsatzsprung auf 140 Mio. DM und damit eine Steigerung von fast 90 Prozent im Vergleich zu 1999/2000. Erst kürzlich hatte das Unternehmen seine Umsatzprognose für das Geschäftsjahr 1999/2000 auf 75 Mio. DM angehoben. Das bedeutet eine Zunahme von 66 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahr. Das EBIT soll im laufenden wie auch im folgenden Geschäftsjahr 14 Prozent betragen. Damit wächst SZ Testsysteme deutlich erfolgreicher, als beim Börsengang im Juni 1999 angekündigt: Damals hatte der Vorstand ein Umsatzwachstum von jährlich 30 Prozent und ein EBIT um 8 Prozent prognostiziert. Als Begründung für den Umsatzsprung nannte der Vorstand die ausgezeichnete Entwicklung in der Halbleiterbranche und den daraus resultierenden Rekord-Auftragseingang bei SZ Testsysteme von mehr als 100 Mio. DM im laufenden Geschäftsjahr. Dieser hat sich damit im Vergleich zum Vorjahr mehr als verdoppelt (44,8 Mio. DM). Auch an der jetzt forcierten Halbleiterentwicklung für UMTS-fähige Mobilfunkgeräte werde das Unternehmen als Testgeräte- Lieferant partizipieren. Um das Umsatzwachstum realisieren zu können, kündigte SZ Testsysteme umfangreiche Investitionen in die Fertigung in Amerang an. SZ Testsysteme AG, Amerang near Wasserburg, anticipates a clear jump in sales revenues to DM 140 million in fiscal year 2000/01 (ending September 30). This is almost a 90 percent increase over 1999/2000. The company had only recently raised its revenue prediction for fiscal year 1999/2000 to DM 75 million. This represents a 66 percent increase over the previous year. In the current as well as the coming fiscal year, the EBIT is expected to be 14 percent. Thus, SZ Testsyteme’s growth is clearly more successful than was announced at the time of the IPO in June 1999. At that time, the Executive Board predicted annual revenue growth of 30 percent and an EBIT of 8 percent. As a reason for the jump in revenues, the Executive Board cited the excellent development in the semiconductor industry and the resulting record incoming orders at SZ Testsysteme which amount to more than DM 100 million in the current fiscal year. Thus, the incoming orders are more than twice those of the previous year (DM 44.8 million). The company will also participate as a supplier of test equipment in the semiconductor development for UMTS-enabled mobile phones.
