SAP SI earnings double in third quarter Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. SAP Systems Integration AG (SAP SI) posted earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of Euro 11.1 million in the third quarter of 2003 (ended September 30). The company reported Euro 5.6 million EBIT for the same period of 2002. The twofold increase in earnings is largely attributable to exceptionally high capacity utilization among SAP SI consultants, a significant reduction in the cost base, plus the absence of restructuring charges included in the 2002 accounts. Third-quarter revenue totaled Euro 70.6 million, after Euro 73.3 million in 2002, and the EBIT margin totaled 15.8 percent, up from 7.7 percent the previous year.
