In the third quarter of the 1998/99 business year (to 30 September) SZ Testsysteme AG in Amerang, near Wasserburg, achieved the largest quarterly sales in the companys history: 12.2 million DM. Compared with the same period of the previous year, this corresponds to an increase of 3.3 million DM or 37%. Thanks to very substantial orders from the USA, an order volume of 13.1 million DM was booked – the highest ever in one quarter. During the first nine months of the current business year, sales rose by 25% to 32.4 million DM (previous year 25.9 million DM). The 3.7 million DM losses from ordinary business activities were caused by the 4 million DM costs for IPO. And significant expenditure for the strategic expansion of the worldwide sales network and the diversification of the product spectrum had a further negative effect. End of Message
