WASGAU Produktions & Handels AG, headquartered in Pirmasens, West Palatinate, is one of the few independent food trading companies in Germany and has a purchasing alliance with REWE Markt GmbH, Cologne. The stores and stores are located with a regional focus in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. The core of the trading activities is formed by 75 WASGAU supermarkets and hypermarkets with sales areas between 600 and 3,200 square meters; in addition, WASGAU operates six cash-and-carry operations as a partner for gastronomy and bulk consumers.
