INVL Technology is a closed-end investment company which invests in IT businesses. It is listed on the Nasdaq Vilnius exchange (INC1L).
The company was established in early 2015 through a merger of the asset management and IT business companies INVL Technology AB and BAIP Group AB.
On 3 July 2015, INVL Technology placed a new issue of 6 060 607 shares at a price of 1.65 euros per share and raised 10 million euros.
On 14 July 2016, the Bank of Lithuania issued a closed-end investment company (CEF) licence to INVL Technology. INVL Technology will operate until 14 July 2026, with extension possible for two more years.
When the company obtained the status of a CEF, its management was assumed by INVL Asset Management – part of the investment management and life insurance group INVL.
INVL Technology operates as a diversified cluster of IT businesses focused on large corporate and public sector clients which helps to globalise the activities of the businesses it owns.
