Frendy Energy was founded in 2006 with the aim of developing the mini-hydro business in Italy through an innovative approach. Thanks to a series of collaborations with international companies, it has been possible to develop a new concept of high-efficiency turbine on small waterfalls and a series of technological innovations that are used for the construction of state-of-the-art hydroelectric plants and for energy production in efficient, highly automated and flexible. In 2013, thanks to the active collaboration with the Scotta Group, the Sommersa® turbine was born, which allows you to make the most of the water jumps of irrigation canals. Frendy Energy, active in power generation in Italy, whose shares have been traded on Euronext Growth Milan ("EGM") since June 22, 2012, has been under the management and coordination of Edison since October 17, 2017.
