About Nigerian Stock Exchange
Nigerian Exchange Limited is Nigeria’s primary securities market, created in 2021 when the former Nigerian Stock Exchange demutualized into a listed holding company, Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, with NGX as the operating exchange and independent arms for regulation and real estate. It provides listing and electronic trading for equities, fixed income, ETFs and derivatives, and traces its origins to the Lagos Stock Exchange, which began operations in 1961.
