Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), now BSE Ltd., is Asia’s oldest stock exchange (est. 1875) and a leading Indian securities marketplace headquartered in Mumbai. It operates nationwide electronic trading and listings across equities, ETFs, debt, REITs, and derivatives, with clearing and settlement via the Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd. (ICCL). The flagship benchmark is the S&P BSE SENSEX, tracking 30 large, liquid companies. BSE also operates the BSE StAR MF mutual-fund platform, alongside market-data and technology services, with a focus on transparency, investor protection, and efficient capital formation.
