The Company was founded under the name Stafford Grundbesitz GmbH in October 2008 in Germany. In November 2014 the company was transformed into the public limited company Deutsche Konsum Grundbesitz AG. The initial public offering took place in December 2015 at the stock market in Berlin. In 2016 the company received the REIT status (“real estate investment trust“) and is therefore exempted from the income-based tax. Since then the company operates under the name Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG.
Since March 2017 the share of the Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG has been listed in the Prime Standard on the German stock exchange.
The objective of the company is to acquire and manage an attractive retail portfolio focused on regional areas and medium sized cities across Germany.
