## PowerCell Secures 2 MW Order for M2Power 250 systems in Maritime Sector

PowerCell has received a groundbreaking first order for its M2Power 250 system from a leading European shipyard valued at SEK 150 million. This milestone marks the first commercial sale of a fully integrated methanol‑to‑power solution, an innovative technology launched in Q3 2024. This order includes a 2 MW installation of the M2Power 250 systems.

The M2Power 250 system converts methanol into clean electricity to support the vessel's internal electrical systems. Methanol is emerging as a promising alternative fuel in shipping, helping the maritime industry transition to low‑emission energy solutions.

Scheduled for delivery in 2029, the contract covers engineering services and product delivery, strengthening PowerCell's position at the forefront of next‑generation maritime energy solutions.
