++ Altira AG acquired a total of 1,132,625 shares of Heliad
   Equity Partners at an average price of EUR 1.14. 


On 27 March 2007, Altira AG acquired a total of 1,132,625 shares of Heliad
Equity Partners at an average price of EUR 1.14. Heliad (www.heliad.de) is
a listed private equity company managed by the Altira subsidiary Sigma
Capital Management GmbH with a focus on direct investments in strongly
growing German companies.

The Altira management considers the Heliad share to have a considerable
fundamental undervaluation and sees an unusually good yield opportunity in
the current price. Thus the  NAV (Net Asset Value) – of the conservatively
calculated assets at  Heliad – was EUR 1.30 at 28 February 2007. At the
same time, the Altira management is confident that there are considerable
hidden reserves in the portfolio, which often only become evident on the
sale or an IPO of the respective portfolio company.

Altira plans to increase its position in Heliad further.
