HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft strives for a stock market floatation of its
subsidiary HOCHTIEF Concessions AG. This decision was taken by the HOCHTIEF
Executive Board at its meeting today. Provided that a suitable capital
market environment exists, the first-time listing in the Regulated Market
(Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is to take place before
the end of 2009. With the transaction, the Group wants to open up the
capital market for the further growth of HOCHTIEF Concessions. In addition,
the development of the concessions business's value is to be made more
transparent for the capital market. Plans within the framework of the
envisaged IPO of HOCHTIEF Concessions also include issuing new shares and
thus making a capital increase. The proceeds shall above all serve to
finance HOCHTIEF Concessions' further growth. HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft
continues to regard the concessions business as an integral element of the
Group and intends to also continue to hold a majority share in the event of
a stock market listing.
