Company Description

Société Électrique de l'Our, or SEO for short, operates the Vianden pumped storage power plant. High-quality peak electricity is generated here. In addition, the power plant plays an important role when it comes to security of supply in the European interconnected grid - especially now that renewable, non-permanently available energies are increasingly being used.

SEO itself also makes use of renewable energy sources: it operates run-of-river power plants and is active in the planning, construction and operation of wind farms.

In the interest of future generations, SEO attaches great importance to environmental protection and makes its contribution to sustainable development.
