nterpump Group S.p.A. is the world’s largest producer of professional high-pressure piston pumps, as well as one of the global players in the market of hydraulic components.
The Interpump Group was born in 1977 in S.Ilario (near Reggio Emilia, in Italy), founded by Fulvio Montipò. Thanks to his technical improvements, including the use of innovative materials, the company was immediately able to produce high-pressure pumps that were smaller and easier to operate compared to competing products.

Interpump Group soon became the world’s largest producer of high-pressure piston pumps, and its products affirmed themselves as the reference on the market.
Starting from the 90s, the Group pursued growth beyond the piston pumps, through the acquisition of several leading companies manufacturing professional and industrial cleaning machines, and electric motors.
