Peter Steiner to succeed Andreas de Maizière as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ZEAL

Succession to take effect at Annual General Meeting in June 2017
Selection process initiated to appoint new Supervisory Board member

The Supervisory Board of ZEAL Network SE has selected Peter Steiner to succeed Andreas de Maizière as its Chairman. Having headed the Supervisory Board of the company for six years, Mr de Maizière has resigned from the board with effect as of the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting in June 2017.

Peter Steiner has been a member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee since 2013. He is an independent auditor and has served in CEO and CFO positions at several MDAX companies. In addition to his position at ZEAL, he is Chairman of the Board of Xella International SA and member of the Board and Chairman of the audit committee of Clariant AG. The Supervisory Board has initiated a selection process for a new member to support ZEAL’s international growth agenda.

Andreas de Maizière, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: “After heading the Supervisory Board of ZEAL for six years, I have decided to step down from my position. ZEAL is set up for future growth and now is a good point in time for me to pass the chairmanship of the Supervisory Board to Peter, as planned. It has been a great pleasure to serve on the Supervisory Board of ZEAL.”
