INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS

The board of directors (the “Board”) of Sing Pao Media Group Limited (the “Company”) announces that Mr. Choo Yeow Ming (“Mr. Choo”) and Ms. Ma Wai Man, Catherine (“Ms. Ma”) were appointed as Executive Directors and Mr. Leung Tze Hang, David (“Mr. Leung”) and Mr. Wen, Carson (“Mr. Wen”) were appointed as Independent Non-Executive Directors of the Company with effect from 11 July 2001.

The directors of the Company would like to welcome Mr. Choo, Ms. Ma, Mr. Leung and Mr. Wen to the Board.
