ITEM 5.02 DEPARTURE OF DIRECTORS OR CERTAIN OFFICERS; ELECTION OF DIRECTORS; APPOINTMENT OF CERTAIN OFFICERS; COMPENSATORY ARRANGEMENTS OF CERTAIN OFFICERS.

On September 6, 2018, J. Patrick Keyes, Executive Vice President of WEC Energy Group, Inc. (the “Company”), submitted his resignation to the Company in order to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Keyes’ resignation is effective September 14, 2018. He will remain with the Company until January 4, 2019, in order to transition his responsibilities to other executives of the Company.
