WashTec AG: Preliminary Half Year Results 2013

* Based on preliminary figures revenues of the first half year at EUR 139.9m (2012 EUR 142.6m), EBIT at EUR 2.8m (2012 EUR 5.8m after adjustment according to IAS 8)

* WashTec aims for revenues on prior year’s level at an EBIT margin of five to six percent (of revenues) for the full year

WashTec AG, the leading provider of innovative vehicle washing solutions worldwide generated revenues of EUR 139.9m and an EBIT of EUR 2.8m on the basis of preliminary figures in the first six months 2013. The decrease compared to 2012 (revenue EUR 142.6m, EBIT 5.8m) mainly resulted from a weaker business in Core Europe while all other market segments have shown a stable or positive development. In addition the result was impacted by higher costs as tariff increases.

Order intake and order backlog as of end of June were above prior year’s level. Therefore WashTec aims at revenues on previous year’s level at an EBIT margin of five to six percent (of revenues) for the full year. The complete half year report will be published August 7, 2013.
