WA1 Resources Ltd (ASX: WA1) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of WA1 Resources Ltd (‘WA1’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of WA1, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 19 January 2024 or when the announcement is released to the market.

TRADING HALT REQUEST

WA1 Resources Ltd (ASX: WA1) ( WA1 or the Company ) hereby requests an immediate voluntary trading halt to the Company’s securities and provides the following information in accordance with Listing Rule 17.1:

1. The Company requests a trading halt, pending the release of an announcement to the market in relation to a proposed capital raising.

2. The Company requests that the trading halt remains in place until the earlier of the Company releasing an announcement to the market regarding the proposed capital raising and the commencement of trading on Friday, 19 January 2024.

3. We expect the trading halt will end by the Company making an announcement.

4. The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or any other information necessary to inform the market regarding the trading halt.
